About Charades

Charades! is a funny guessing game in which players have to explain different words using paraphrases, vocals or sketches.

Charades! is a game for smartphones and tablets, which reminds of the game principle of the popular party game Activity. The aim of the game is to guess as many words as possible in 60 seconds. For this purpose, a player holds the smartphone on his forehead, on which the searched term is displayed. A teammate now has to explain this word with the help of paraphrases, sketches or movements. If the player guesses the word, the smartphone has to be tilted down and a new term appears. There are a total of 20 different categories available, from films to science terms.

Charades! - Functions:

• Guess and explain: In Charades! you have to guess as many words as possible. However, each player has only 60 seconds to guess the terms. There are terms from a total of 20 different categories available. At the beginning of the game, you have to pick a category. Here you can, for example, choose between the categories films, TV series or science. Now you have to hold your smartphone on your forehead, so that you do not see the term, which then appears on the device. A teammate must now explain the displayed word. To do this he must either rewrite, paint or mime the term. If you guess the word, you have to tilt the smartphone down and a new term appears on the screen.
• Fun for many players: You can play Charades! with only one friend or with up to a hundred players at a time. This allows you to play the game also at your next party.
• Record your friends: When you hold the smartphone on your forehead, the front camera of the device records your teammates. You can watch the created video at the end of the round and also share it on social networks like Facebook. This special feature is great fun not only for you, but also for everyone else.
